CRM → Customers → the ”…” menu → Import from CSV.

The file

A .csv file up to 15 MB, with a header row. One column is required:
ColumnRequiredExample
email✅hoa@acme.com
firstNameHoa
lastNameNguyen
phone+84 90 123 4567
companyAcme Corp
jobTitleHead of Engineering
locationHo Chi Minh City

Column names are matched exactly, in camelCase. A column EDGR does not recognise is kept on the customer as an extra field rather than thrown away, so there is no need to strip your own columns before importing.
A row with no email is skipped and reported as an error. Everything else is optional.

Import

1

Pick the file

Drag it in or browse. The file is parsed in your browser, so you see problems before anything is sent.
2

Check the preview

The table shows the parsed rows with your own column headers, and the count of customers about to be created. Rows missing an email are listed as errors here.
3

Choose a segment

Put every imported customer into one segment, or leave it as No segment (import globally). Importing into a segment is the quickest way to get an audience ready for a campaign.
4

Import

The file uploads and a background job takes over. The modal confirms the import is queued and you can close it — the work continues without you.

Before importing thousands

  • Trim stray spaces and normalise email casing in the file first.
  • Run 50 rows through and look at the result in the customer table before sending the rest.
  • Duplicate emails resolve against existing customers rather than creating a second record, so re-importing a corrected file is safe.
